Minhong co-founded Lunit in 2013 to pioneer AI solutions for precision diagnostics and therapeutics, with a core focus on confronting cancer, one of the leading causes of death worldwide.

Lunit's advanced AI technology for medical imaging has earned significant international acclaim. Recognized by CB Insights as a leading company in both their 'AI 100' and 'Digital Health 150' lists, Lunit was also selected by the World Economic Forum as a 'Technology Pioneer'. Building on these achievements, Lunit was successfully listed on KOSDAQ (KOSDAQ: 328130) in July 2022.
Minhong led Lunit’s radiology solution business, spearheading pivotal partnerships with global medical imaging technology leaders such as GE Healthcare, Philips, and FujiFilm. This strategic leadership drove the adoption of Lunit’s solutions in hospitals across over 35 countries, enhancing day-to-day clinical workflows for better patient care. His innovative contributions were further recognized in 2021 when he was named to the prestigious MIT Technology Review 'Korean Innovator Under 35' list.
Prior to Lunit, he gained valuable experience at InBody (KOSDAQ: 041830), a worldwide leader in body composition technology, where he devised online business strategies and analyzed customer behavior in the Home Health Department. Minhong holds a BS in Materials Science and Engineering and an MS in Management Engineering from KAIST.
